MANAGER: ICT – D2 (TEMPORARY CONTRACT)

Job Purpose

To lead the ICT department and ensure organisation-wide systems and information management is implemented and controlled.

Key Performance Areas

  1. Develop and review policies, procedure and SOP’s relevant to ICT.
  2. Develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to enable the company to meet its strategic objectives.
  3. Ensure compliance to all governance, legislation as well as policies and procedures to achieve clean audit.
  4. Effective ICT budget management.
  5. Ensure information security.
  6. Manage the duties and responsibilities of the employees in the ICT Department.
  7. Comply and adhere to the ICT control programme, ensuring that the company’s overall policy and objectives are achieved and that all statutory legislation and regulations are met.

Requirements

1. BSc. or B-Tech. in Computer Science or Information Technology

2. The following certifications will be advantageous:
2.1 VMware (Virtual Machine) Certification
2.2 MCSE (Microsoft Certified Server Engineer)
2.3 Active Directory
2.4 Exchange Server
2.5 CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
2.6 CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
2.7 FCNSE (Fortinet Certified Network Security Expert)

3. 7 years Minimum operational experience required.
4. 3 years relevant managerial experience.

Job Purpose

Co-ordinates and controls the Supply Chain Management processes, aligning procedures, systems and controls, executing applications to address the identification, acquisition or disposal of items, monitoring the stock control applications and maintaining records of outcomes, supporting and contributing to fair, equitable, transparent and cost-effective procurement practices that is consistent with policies and laid down requirements encapsulated in legislative frameworks.

Key Performance Areas

  1. Research and give input into the formulation of Supply Chain Management Policies needed to achieve the Corporate Objectives of ERWAT for submission.
  2. Benchmark ERWAT with other companies to ensure alignment, compliance with corporate supply chain management policy and relevant legislation.
  3. Implement and maintain effective systems to ensure compliance with sound Corporate Governance and relevant legislation within the SCM Section.
  4. Design, implement and control processes to deliver the required stakeholder interactions and value propositions to the stakeholders of SCM.
  5. Set individual and team objectives to support departmental and organizational objectives.
  6. Preparation and control of the SCM Budget, ensuring effective internal control systems are in place.
  7. Investigate and assess impacting variables (expenditure, commodity, market/industry).
  8. Ensure appropriate processes and bid systems are applied to solicit responses in the form of quotations from suppliers/ vendors or service providers.
  9. Participating in meetings and providing information on specific Supply chain processes and procedures.
  10. Preparing reports related to specific analysis or investigations, submitting to the immediate superior for approval and forwarding to the respective committees.

Requirements

  1. Registered with SAICA as a qualified CA (SA).
  2. 7 years working experience in a Supply Chain Management Environment including audit processes.
  3. 5 Years Managerial experience.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – D2 (TEMPORARY CONTRACT)

Job Purpose

To ensure effective and efficient execution ERWAT’s management accounting function through maintenance of information and enhancement of the system. To provide effective support to the Executive Manager: Finance and SCM, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Manager: Commercial business. To lead on the preparation of monthly management accounts and costing of commercial business projects.

Key Performance Areas

  1. Scrutinise statutory returns on a monthly basis.
  2. Report on a monthly basis to all departments on financial position.
  3. Retrieve the following modules to General Ledger monthly: Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Payroll and Fixed Assets.
  4. Set individual and team goals to support the Finance and Commercial business section objectives.
  5. Design and implement procedures of daily management and cost accounting routines to ensure high standard of internal control of documentation.
  6. Perform costing on commercial business projects/prospects
  7. Advise the Head of Department: Commercial Business, Head of Department: Finance & SCM as well as the CFO on the profitability of commercial business projects.
  8. Develop and Implement a system for inter departmental costing.
  9. Continuous development of finance team members, processes and procedure.
  10. Preparation of monthly management accounts to agreed timescales, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance commentary

Requirements

  1. B Com Accounting or Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on financial management and cost accounting.
  2. Registered with SAICA as a qualified South African Charted Accountant (CA)(SA)) OR CIMA as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
  3. 7 years’ relevant experience in costing and management accounting functions (Including Audit experience).
  4. 5 Years Managerial experience required.
