National Water Week is celebrated across the country every year to ensure that everyone has access to safe water by 2030 while endeavouring to protect the environment.

This year’s theme is: “Water for All”.

National Water Week focuses its attention on the importance of fresh water and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. It also serves as a powerful campaign mechanism re-iterating the value of water, the need for sustainable management of this scarce resource and the role water plays in eradicating poverty and under-development in South Africa.

ERWAT is always a keen participant in National Water Week and will join hands with other role players to celebrate this national campaign.
